The front of the coin has the SAS Cap Emblem a downward pointing Excalibur, wreathed in flames with the motto Who Dares Wins. Around the edge is written: 264 (SAS) SIGNAL SQUADRON, FORMED JULY 1996
On the reverse of the coin has the Cap Badge of the Royal Signals, the figure of Mercury
Around the edge is written: INCORPORATED INTO 18 (UKSF) SIGNAL REGIMENT APRIL 2005, REUNION 17 JUNE 06.
These coins are made from the original molds that were used to make the originals.
This is an exceptionally rare pewter coin and is the largest of the set made by the manufacturer.
CL managed to get the original manufacturer of these to make them again so that collectors and those with an interest in UK Special Forces can purchase one.
