As the SNAP female S pin rivet X2, the rivet X3 can also be attached by invisible rivets with no need of punching a hole first. This Variant differs from the X2 in its slightly other appearance and the additional third rivet. Compatible counterparts are all SNAP male S products.

The smallest size of the SNAP components is primarily suitable for textile applications or low loads, e.g. as a fastener on small bags, on collars or to attach smaller accessories. These fasteners are very compact and inconspicuous and therefore not suitable for luggage-connecting.
