British Troops to return to Iraq in 2015
Hundreds of British troops will be sent to Iraq in the New Year (2015), Defence Secretary Michael Fallon has said.

Although it will be to train local forces and only be in the hundreds it may also include a protection force of combat ready soldiers.
It has widely been reported that British Special forces have been operating in Iraq taking out ISIS targets in large numbers.
About 50 UK troops are already training Iraqi and Kurdish forces fighting Islamic State militants in Iraq.
British Aircraft have also been used to take out IS targets and have carried out a large number of missions.
It is also reported that British bomb disposal experts are training Kurdish forces since the high rise of roadside IED’s
Numbers of troops to go have not been finalised but these could increase if allied and Iraqi forces do not put a stop to IS.
With atrocities taking place on a daily basis and the constant worry of homeland attacks as ISIS numbers increase it can only be hoped that the troops have a positive effect.
